Ace Foundation Donor Relations Specialist
The Ace Foundation Donor Relations Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all donation processing, reconciliation and reporting in partnership with FP&A team - equaling over $20M annually. This position will also provide analysis of program financial results, identify financial trends and provide insights to drive strategic decisions made by members of the Foundation team. In addition, this position will lead the payroll deduction program for all Ace Hardware employees enterprise-wide (Corp, Field, EJD, ARH, RSC, AHHS, AHS). Finally, this position will assist with all Foundation vendor events including communication, detailed budgets, signage creation and other event planning needs. What You'll Do Donation processing and reconciliation Donation processing and analysis Payroll deduction program Vendor Event Support General Foundation Team Support Who You Are The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and excels in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy in donation handling and reporting. Candidate would be good at collaborating across teams to drive impactful programs and enjoy coordinating events to advance the Foundation's mission. Required Skills Minimum 5 years of working in a non-profit/charitable environment, to include in-depth understanding of vendor and retailer relationships, billing practices, payment terms, and vendor payment processing. Strong analytical skills ability to review financials and identify trends and supply reporting. Understanding of accounting processes Ability to understand, investigate and resolve problems using root-cause research skills Must have experience in Microsoft Office, specifically basic skills in Word and Excel Ability to compose reports and correspondence Ability to form relationships, connect cross-functionally and cultivate both internal and external donors. Travel 10-15%: twice annually to Ace Conventions as well as fundraising events as needed Preferred Skills Event planning experience a plus. SAP and Salesforce experience a plus Compensation Details: $66000 - $82600 per year Why should you join our team?
