POSITION OVERVIEW

ADB is seeking a Senior Vice President of Sales & Business Development to oversee the Business Development department including new customer acquisition, retention, customer experience, and department financial goals. This position creates and directs go-to-market strategies that result in achieving revenue goals, penetrating target markets, and driving profitable growth. The ideal candidate has proven success leading a sales organization, strong business and financial acumen, with a strong work ethic and an ALL IN attitude to achieve results.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the Business Development team, driving accountability for pipeline growth and revenue targets
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with organizational goals, focusing on technology and telecom infrastructure markets
- Foster a high-performance team culture through coaching, mentoring, and professional development
- Oversee pipeline management and forecasting to ensure consistent achievement of KPIs and scorecard goals
- Implement performance management processes to track progress, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement
- Represent the organization with professionalism in client engagements, building and maintaining relationships at all levels, including C-Suite
- Serve as an executive-level leader responsible for people management, production, performance, and quality within an entire department
- Advanced level of business and financial acumen; can independently create and execute upon strategic business plans and financial budgets
- Strong data and analytics skills to drive critical business decisions
- Responsible for creating and driving the department vision and strategic plan; is a Scorecard holder of business goals that aligns and contributes to the overall company goals
- Creates department processes and standards ensuring quality, production, performance, and task initiatives are met
- Advanced level presentation skills; can create board level collateral and presentations to professionally articulate various business information and/or data
- Creates, manages, and drives department budget ensuring cost control and adherence
- Upholds ADB’s safety culture, leads by example and drives the philosophy of ZERO throughout the entire organization
- Leads by example and influences engagement into the ADB culture of community, wellness, development, and inclusion
- Creates the standard of collaboration and interdependence with other functional teams and operational groups ensuring strong relationships and collaboration to achieve overall business goals

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Corporate headquarters is located at 18777 Hwy 66, Pacific, MO 63069
- This position operates out of a temperature-controlled office environment
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, copy/fax, and smartphones
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience required
- 5+ years leading a Sales or Business Development team required
- Experience in Telecommunications, Technology or Infrastructure industries strongly preferred
- Current IT technology certifications showing expert knowledge in various technical programs preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field required
- Master’s degree in Business Administration a plus
- Valid Drivers license with the ability to travel nationwide
