Job Description:
The Manager - Medical Affairs Omnichannel Education supports the design, implementation, and optimization of evidence-based medical education initiatives aligned with therapeutic area strategy and healthcare professional (HCP) needs. This role translates medical strategy into compliant omnichannel educational solutions, incorporating digital and social-enabled content where appropriate to enhance scientific exchange, learning, and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of Medical Omnichannel Education (MOE) plans aligned with therapeutic area priorities and HCP learning needs.
- Translate medical strategy into integrated omnichannel educational approaches, including live, virtual, digital, field-enabled, and social-enabled touchpoints.
- Develop, adapt, and deploy compliant scientific and educational content across approved channels, including social or social-adjacent platforms, ensuring medical accuracy and consistency.
- Manage Medical-Legal-Regulatory (MLR) review and approval processes using systems such as Veeva Vault MedComms.
- Implement educational solutions using adult learning and instructional design principles to optimize learning outcomes.
- Partner with Field Medical and cross-functional stakeholders to integrate omnichannel education into engagement models and training plans.
- Track content deployment, assess engagement and learning impact, and apply insights to continuously improve omnichannel education strategies.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated Project Portfolio management with 1+ years’ experience in delivery, implementation, and budget management
- 1+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, medical education, or pharma omnichannel engagement.
- Experience supporting compliant digital and social-enabled medical education content in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of MLR processes, compliance standards, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, PhD) with 1+ years direct experience in customer-centric solutions.
- Experience working with internal/external experts (thought leaders) to transform market insights and understand customer needs into HCP and patient education strategy.
- Strong knowledge of Integrated Health Systems and Regional Payers and the unique needs of HCPs practicing in these settings.
