Overview

Uber's Core Consumer Experience team owns the foundational surfaces and systems at the center of how customers experience our flagship Uber app. This includes owning cross-platform hubs and navigation to deepen our customer's relationship with Uber, help them find the right solutions for their needs, and get tasks done with ease.

As a Senior Product Manager on Core Consumer Experience, you will own a portfolio of experiences that balance helping users engage with products they know and love, while actively growing new businesses. The work spans core hubs as well as discovery, search, and navigation to guide customers through the Uber ecosystem. You will help define how these experiences evolve over time, including how new AI-powered capabilities are thoughtfully introduced. This role requires an experience-led product manager who combines strong ownership, exceptional design taste, and cross-functional leadership with the ability to thrive in ambiguity.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Own and evolve core surfaces with clear accountability for quality, customer outcomes, and platform scalability.
  • Set direction and strategy for your area(s), balancing near-term improvements with long-term systems that support new business growth (e.g., growing family accounts, commuter tools, & membership).
  • Partner deeply with Product Design, holding a high bar for craft and sweating the details: from interaction patterns, to visual polish, to the way we communicate.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Data Science, and ML teams to design technically sound, scalable solutions and ship continuously.
  • Collaborate across teams as a platform owner and consultant, connecting dots across initiatives and shaping shared solutions that serve multiple use cases.
  • Define and run global experimentation (A/B testing at scale), using data to learn, validate ideas, iterate quickly, and inform product direction.
  • Lead a cross-functional pod, driving weekly execution, prioritization, and unblocking with an owner's mindset. Ship improvements every month.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in a fast-paced, consumer-facing role, delivering highly successful products with your fingerprints all over them.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • Familiarity with systems thinking, analytics and experiment design, and a solid understanding of development processes.
  • Extensive experience setting and delivering roadmaps, where you were accountable for outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience partnering with Product Design, Product Marketing, and User Research, holding a high bar for taste and lovable products. Ability to jump into Figma and present a clear product narrative with ease.
  • Deep experience designing, running, and analyzing large-scale experiments on high-traffic consumer products.
  • Experience working closely with ML and data science teams to assess opportunities, impact, and define how we merge AI-powered capabilities into consumer experiences.
