Job Description

  • TCS is looking to hire a Program Director for the Enterprise Solutions Units (ESU) Consulting Practice.
  • This senior leadership role is responsible for planning, executing, and managing complex, large-scale transformation engagements for TCS clients, ensuring successful delivery across all phases.
  • This role oversees multiple transformational projects, including ERP implementations and business process improvements, while coordinating timelines, resources, and capacity planning.
  • The Program Director manages program-level status, metrics, risks, and deliverables, leveraging broad business and technical expertise.
  • The role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to influence at the C-suite level. Additionally, the Program Director is accountable for driving business development, developing proposals, producing thought leadership, and representing TCS at industry events, reinforcing the company’s position as a trusted transformation partner.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience leading large global business transformation program delivery, with a expert understanding of the business values of transformation programs/objectives.
  • Ability to speak business language, guide business counterparts towards the right SAP solution and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Experience leading sales opportunities.
  • Previous hands‑on experience leading a specific functional stream.
  • Ability to work with C‑levels as well as be hands‑on as required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • At least five (5) full life‑cycle implementations as an ERP Project Manager with multi‑module implementations (Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse).
  • A minimum of ten (10) years prior transformational ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience.
  • At least six (6) years’ experience in proposal and business case development.
  • Ability to lead steering committee meetings, lead team meetings, lead business meetings, and lead project management team.
  • Demonstrated experience in proposal development, project estimation, planning, and managing teams of 20+ resources.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required; ability to work without visa sponsorship and willingness to travel up to 100%.

Generic Managerial Skills

  • Ability to lead steering committee meetings, lead team meetings, lead business meetings, and lead project management team.
  • Demonstrated experience in proposal development, project estimation, planning, and managing teams of 20+ resources.

Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 per annum
