Role Overview
The Associate Director of PMO leads cross‑functional projects and initiatives with the highest resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Projects include new construction, interior renovation/adaptive reuse, infrastructure, site work, laboratories, vivarium, office, amenity, conferencing, and public space programs.
Typical Day
- Work collaboratively and coordinate with various partners within REGN leadership and all overlapping functional areas ensuring a well rounded, complete and thoughtful consideration of all potential project team members and operational/logistical considerations.
- Monitor all planning, programming, scoping, design and construction activities to ensure compliance with corporate standards, contractual agreements, schedule and budget requirements.
- Maintain a complex program/project budget, cash flow analysis, cost estimates, and review purchase orders, change orders, and invoices with significant impact on company operations.
- Develop and apply standards, tools, and knowledge requirements for Facilities Project Management skills and career development, providing guidance to less‑experienced team members.
- Evaluate and develop potential new project sites, projected costs, and schedules for renovations to meet specific program needs.
- Resolve unique, high‑significance situations requiring innovative problem‑solving and advanced techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Licensed Registered Architect or Professional Engineer preferred.
- Fluency in negotiating leases, contracts and all aspects of capital project management.
- Minimum 15 years in a related field with similar scope of work.
- Experience with financial cash flow and accrual forecasting and reporting.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Salary Range (annually)
$154,800.00 - $252,800.00
