About Phaidra
About Phaidra Phaidra is building the future of industrial automation. The world today is filled with static, monolithic infrastructure in factories, power plants, buildings, etc. The controls programming is hard-coded with thousands of lines of rules, causing facilities to be slow to adapt and performance to degrade. Phaidra creates AI-powered control systems for the industrial sector, enabling facilities to automatically learn and improve over time. Specifically:
• We use reinforcement learning algorithms to convert raw sensor data into high-value actions and decisions. • We focus on industrial applications with measurable KPIs, ideal for reinforcement learning. • We enable domain experts (our users) to configure the AI control systems without writing code, defining what AI agents should do and letting us implement it for them.
Our team has a track record of applying AI to tough problems, including achieving superhuman performance in games and reducing energy use in data centers. Phaidra’s mission depends on our core values: Transparency , Collaboration , Operational Excellence , Ownership , and Empathy . We seek individuals who embody these values to deliver excellence and foster a supportive culture.
Phaidra is based in the USA, but we are 100% remote with no physical office. We hire internationally with our partner, OysterHR. Our team is located across the USA, Canada, UK, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Singapore, Australia, and India.
