Join the Raytheonlegal team as a Director and Senior Counsel for the Advanced Products & Solutions Strategic Business Unit (APS SBU) with the opportunity to support an expansive portfolio of U.S. and international programs. The Senior Counsel reports to the APS SBU General Counsel and directly supports key business stakeholders, programs, and functions. The Senior Counsel serves as the primary point of contact for program guidance and direction on all legal matters, responsible for providing timely, relevant, and pragmatic legal, business, and strategic advice to help programs achieve their objectives. The APS SBU Legal team is an embedded partner present at all levels within the SBU and at key operational events (e.g., monthly financial/business reviews, estimate at completion reviews, staff meetings). Critical to this role is the Senior Counsel's ability to quickly establish and maintain trust and foster a positive reputation with key program and functional leaders. A successful Senior Counsel would have excellent legal and critical thinking skills, an understanding of the SBU business and financial goals, and a keen ability to effectively establish and exploit an internal network of LCC professionals and functional resources.
