Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify and track bidding opportunities through government portals, lead services, and industry networks.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for property managers, general contractors, and government agencies to increase bid invitation frequency.
- Full‑Cycle Estimating: Conduct detailed take‑offs using industry‑standard software.
- Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive bid packages, ensuring all compliance requirements for public works and government projects are met.
- Market Analysis: Stay ahead of regional trends and competitor pricing to ensure a high win rate.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in commercial roofing estimation (Required).
- Public Works Expertise: Demonstrated success in navigating government bidding processes and prevailing wage requirements.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital take‑off software (e.g., Stack, Bluebeam, or Edge).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for high‑level professional networking.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial roofing systems (Flat roofs, Industrial coatings, etc.).
