Choreo is seeking an innovative and analytically minded Vice President of Growth Strategy to lead firmwide initiatives that accelerate growth, optimize performance, and deepen client engagement. This leader will harness the power of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and strategic experimentation to structure and scale new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate combines business acumen, technical fluency, and a collaborative mindset to turn insights into measurable results.

The Vice President of Growth Strategy will report to the Chief Growth Officer and serve as a key advisor to the executive team on growth and innovation strategy. They will champion a data-driven, AI-enabled culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, and mentor team members and cross-functional leaders in applying AI and analytics to drive measurable business impact.

Primary Responsibilities

Leverage artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to uncover opportunities in client, operational, and financial data.
Employ statistical and predictive modeling techniques to inform decision-making, automate insight generation, and forecast business outcomes.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable strategies that drive growth and improve client outcomes.

Growth Pilots & Innovation

Design and lead a portfolio of growth pilots aimed at expanding net new assets under management and client relationships.
Define success metrics, leading indicators, and feedback loops to evaluate pilot performance and scalability.
Implement systems and processes that enable continuous learning and rapid iteration across pilot initiatives.
Collaborate with business unit leaders to ensure alignment of pilots with firmwide strategic priorities.

Program Management & Execution

Provide program management oversight for all piloted and strategic growth initiatives, ensuring effective coordination, prioritization, and execution.
Build repeatable frameworks for initiative tracking, milestone reporting, and performance assessment.
Manage cross-functional dependencies to ensure growth initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.

Executive & Partner Communications

Prepare and deliver board-level and partner presentations for CPA firms, Centers of Influence (COI), and executive leadership.
Communicate the firm’s growth strategy through compelling narratives supported by data and insight.
Develop presentation materials and reports that effectively articulate strategy, progress, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

MBA required (preferably with a focus in Strategy, Analytics, or Technology Management).
8+ years of experience in strategy, analytics, program management, business development, or related leadership roles—ideally within financial services, wealth management, or business consulting sectors.
AI-native, uses AI and advanced analytics to drive business growth, efficiency, or client engagement.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs and execute initiatives from concept through implementation.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing and delivering executive and board-level materials.

As a Vice President – Data Strategy Enablement in the Firmwide Chief Data Office, you will establish firmwide approaches to adopting our data strategy, focusing on designating data authority from source and making data available for a wide range of uses. You will interact with teams across the firm, including lines of business and corporate functions, and play an instrumental role in planning, collaborating, and executing complex data strategy initiatives. You will communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders, guide team members, and take ownership of data strategy concepts that impact end user products.

Job responsibilities

Lead and own day-to-day execution of data strategy programs across the firm
Guide and develop individual team members, fostering collaboration and autonomy
Build strong relationships and inspire followership within a consensus-driven team environment
Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop recommendations for executive leaders and Chief Data Officers
Implement decisions and recommendations across the firm with team members
Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans
Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance and implement data-driven optimizations
Facilitate effective communication across teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and objectives
Provide regular status updates to key stakeholders and leadership

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or Master’s degree (e.g., MBA).
7+ years of strategy, product, or consulting experience in global/firmwide environments
Ability to work collaboratively in a team of experts and create an inclusive environment at all levels
Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive relationships and influence decision‑making
Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
Intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and strong project management skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience upskilling colleagues in a rapid manner
Proven ability to communicate effectively with leadership and key stakeholders about wins, use cases, risks, issues, and statuses
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring successful program outcomes and team performance

As our Head of Data & Analytics, you'll build and lead our data function during a pivotal growth phase. Responsibilities

Recruit and manage data engineers, analytics engineers, and data analysts
Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture focused on delivering actionable insights
Balance hands-on technical work with strategic leadership and team development
Establish scalable processes and best practices as the team grows
Drive data strategy and infrastructure
Own our data strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives
Design scalable data pipelines, architecture, and governance using modern tools like BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Amplitude and Looker
Partner with engineering to enhance product telemetry and data collection
Implement data quality frameworks and monitoring systems
Work with product, sales, marketing, and leadership teams to deliver insights that drive business outcomes
Build dashboards and self-service analytics capabilities
Lead strategic analyses on customer behavior, product adoption, and business performance
Translate complex data into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

Based in: Bay Area, with requirement to come into our San Francisco office at least 2 days a week
Experience: 5+ years in data roles with 3+ years building and scaling data teams at a fast-growing SaaS startup
Leadership: Drive to create change and ability to define strategy to develop Data and Analytics requirements and priorities. Proven ability to execute
Business acumen: Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and how data drives business strategy
Communication: Outstanding ability to influence stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business insights
Ownership mindset: High accountability and sense of urgency with bias toward action and problem-solving – able to do IC work when needed
Technical expertise: Strong in SQL, Python, data modeling, and modern data stack (we use BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Looker)
