Vice President of Sales – Connectivity (USD $250k -$350K)

San Jose California, United States

Our client is a MNC and seeking a dynamic and highly self‑motivated Sales VP - Connectivity, who has strong management skills and strategic sense to interface with top‑tier customers in US. The candidate will lead a team to expand the current B2B businesses while maintaining existing programs from a supply‑chain perspective. This individual is responsible for strategic management of sales, including sales revenue, profit target, CRM, and team management.

Our client’s OEM/Consumer Electronics Industry clients include interface with our top‑tier customers in the US (GAFAM). Apple, Google, Facebook, Amazon – in respect of connectivity products & RF products & solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity; provide feedback to the management team and other related functions; and provide guidelines on the optimization or improvement of business
  • Manage the use of budgets to build and maintain the team, as well as drive the delivery of sales
  • Coordinate with the internal operations team to better allocate internal resources or drive the improvement of processes to deliver profitable growth
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Participate in corporate succession planning activities, write and deliver employee reviews, keep close tabs on employee morale, and create a positive working environment

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the OEM/Consumer Electronics Industry, managing annual sales volumes of around USD multi-million and sales team size of +100
  • Good command of written and oral English; Chinese Mandarin is a plus but not essential
