We help clients identify, quantify, and monitor credit risk across a wide array of exposures by leveraging CB’s unique and sophisticated data and analytics. The comprehensive nature of CB’s consensus ratings coverage on over 120,000 sovereigns, FIs, NBFIs, corporates and funds uniquely place CB as the leading provider of credit risk intelligence.

We have experienced significant growth over the last 12 months across our different client segments and are looking to scale up the commercial team for the next phase of growth.

The role

We’reseekinga highly experienced executive to join our dynamic team, reporting directly toHeadofSales. Thisis your chance to become a strategic leader, forging connections that unlock incredible opportunities propelling the organisation forward. Build upon and expand partnerships with Bloomberg, Blackrock, LSEG, Numerix, and others. You’llbe our Partnership Architect:identifying, developing, and executing strategic partnerships that significantly increase our company’s growth.Thinkrevenue, brand preference, and industry dominance –you’llbe the driving force!

Your responsibilities will include

  • Shaping our Strategic Partnership Vision: Take the lead in crafting our partnership roadmap, guiding us towards the most impactful collaborations
  • Forging Enduring Alliances: Build and nurture win-win partnerships with key players in the financial services/FinTech space including vendors, technology partners, as well as managing and growing our existing third party partnership relationships.
  • Champion Innovation: Be a catalyst for growth byidentifyingnew business opportunities through technology investments and challenging the status quo
  • Contract Negotiation: Expertly navigate complex negotiations, workinghand-in-handwith legal resources when needed
  • Partnership Integration Specialist: Seamlessly integrate our partners into our ecosystem, collaborating effectively across departments
  • Market Intelligence Leader: Stay ahead of the curve by constantly analyzing market trends, competitor moves, and emerging technologies
  • Resource Optimization: Optimizeour resources to ensure maximum profitability
  • Clear Communicator: Keep key stakeholders informed with insightful and concise progress reports

What we are looking for

  • AMaster’s in Business Administrationor equivalent
  • A seasoned financial services/FinTech professional with 5+ years of partnerships experience
  • Expertise and in-depth knowledge of the financial services and partner ecosystem and B2B channels (inclusive of wholesale credit risk management, capital markets, structured finance, or financial services regulatory requirements). Able to successfully identify where to leverage relationships for CB.
  • Demonstrated experience building and growing third party partnership channels. Able to evidence previous success in driving results and creating impact.
  • A curious mind with a thirst for learning and a willingness to experiment
  • A strategic thinker with sharp business acumen
  • A master communicator – both written and verbal
  • A self-starter who thrives with minimal oversight and makes key decisions with confidence
  • An analytical problem-solver with a knack for finding solutions
  • A leader who inspires and influences, fostering strong partnerships.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.

The annual base salary for this position is $150-200K dependent on skillset and experience.
