Sr Specialist, Gov't Bid

Join Canon USA as a Sr Specialist, Gov't Bid, leading the preparation, coordination, and submission of competitive and compliant proposals in response to federal government solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs).

Your Impact

Key responsibilities include analyzing government solicitations, managing end‑to‑end bid responses, maintaining proposal schedules and compliance matrices, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to produce compelling content, conducting final quality assurance reviews, updating bid libraries, tracking concurrent bid efforts, interfacing with contracting officers, providing strategic input during proposal reviews, and supporting post‑submission activities such as best‑and‑final offers and award debriefings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of related experience, including at least 3 years as a Government Bid Specialist.
  • Extensive knowledge of procurement rules and regulations and ability to identify missing clauses in solicitations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Workspace, and database applications.

Compensation

Base salary: $76,150 – $114,040 annually.
