Position Summary
The Implementation Design Director leads Brook’s enterprise implementation engine, translating commercial commitments into scalable, repeatable operational execution. Success in this role requires the ability to influence outcomes across cross‑functional teams without direct authority, aligning stakeholders around shared implementation goals through trust, clarity, and operational leadership.
Internally, this leader builds and scales a high‑performing implementation design function, strengthening Brook’s operational foundation as the company grows. Operational leadership brings structure to complexity, translates execution insights into scalable systems, and aligns teams around predictable implementation outcomes.
Execution accountability extends beyond reporting lines — this role ensures implementation success regardless of which department resources belong to, aligning teams around shared outcomes and timelines.
This leader shapes delivery models early, validates feasibility during pre‑sales, and holds go/no‑go authority for partner activation readiness. A high‑visibility leadership scope creates meaningful growth runway, shaping how Brook scales partner delivery and enterprise execution over time.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve Brook’s enterprise implementation operating model to support scalable, repeatable partner launches.
- Define implementation frameworks that balance speed, risk management, and long‑term operational sustainability.
- Establish implementation KPIs including launch timelines, readiness scores, risk indicators, adoption metrics, and early performance outcomes.
- Develop standardized playbooks, governance models, and delivery methodologies that scale across partner types and complexity levels.
- Ensure implementation design aligns with long‑term care delivery and revenue performance goals.
Cross‑Functional Execution Leadership
- Drive implementation execution across teams regardless of reporting structure, ensuring shared accountability for launch success.
- Align Sales, Care Operations, Revenue Cycle & Enablement, Product, Engineering, Clinical leadership, and Partner Success around execution priorities.
- Establish clear ownership, decision rights, escalation paths, and governance rhythms across cross‑functional workstreams.
- Identify and remove operational barriers that threaten timelines or partner readiness.
- Maintain visibility across competing priorities and proactively manage execution risk.
- Partner with Sales and leadership during pre‑sales to validate operational feasibility and implementation complexity.
- Translate commercial commitments into executable implementation strategies and realistic timelines.
- Influence deal structure to reduce operational risk and improve long‑term scalability.
- Serve as Brook’s senior operational voice during partner implementation planning discussions.
Launch Governance & Readiness Management
- Define and enforce structured go/no‑go readiness criteria.
- Hold activation authority based on operational readiness and risk assessment.
- Lead launch readiness reviews with cross‑functional stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Ensure implementation milestones are achieved before activation.
- Monitor early‑launch performance and stabilize operations post‑go‑live.
Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Develop dashboards tracking implementation delivery performance, partner readiness, issue resolution, and launch outcomes.
- Analyze implementation data to identify recurring risks, inefficiencies, or scalability challenges.
- Drive structured improvement initiatives that increase speed‑to‑launch while maintaining quality and operational integrity.
- Convert implementation lessons into standardized processes and system enhancements.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build and develop implementation design capability internally.
- Establish operational standards and execution discipline across implementation teams.
- Mentor leaders who can navigate ambiguity, complexity, and enterprise‑scale coordination.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Identify implementation risks early and lead mitigation planning across departments.
- Align implementation models with Care Operations and Revenue Cycle & Enablement to ensure sustainable operational handoffs.
- Ensure implementation decisions support long‑term scalability and partner success.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven ability to drive execution across teams without direct authority.
- Experience balancing launch speed with governance and risk management.
- Strong systems thinker aligning commercial goals with operational capacity.
- Ability to create clarity and accountability in ambiguity.

Preferred Experience
- Minimum 7 years of implementation or healthcare operations leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related field).
- Equivalent combination of education and demonstrated operational leadership experience will be considered.
- Experience launching complex health system partnerships.
- Demonstrated success reducing launch risk and improving time‑to‑value.
- Growth‑stage healthcare or digital health scaling experience preferred.
