Summary
The Business Development Director for the National Deposits Group will drive the development of new business through the sale of proprietary products and services, escrow, and treasury management products. Success will be measured by growth of lower cost balances and fees for services. The Director is responsible for prospecting, lead generation, acquisition of new business, and maintenance and growth of key relationships. The verticals include homeowner associations, property managers, HOA intermediaries, qualified intermediaries including 1031 exchange firms, attorney banking, escrow servicing, title companies, project finance and M&A.
Major Areas Of Accountability
Strategic Execution: Develop a high-impact, results‑oriented sales strategy and roadmap that leads to new business growth and deepens relationships with homeowner associations, property managers, qualified intermediaries, title companies, and other market players. Sales & Marketing: Contribute to and execute the go‑to‑market strategy and playbook to drive new customer and deposit generation. Keep abreast of client trends and technological advances to advance competitive advantage. Optimal Customer Relationship: Identify opportunities to cross‑sell banking products and services, present creative solutions, and manage customer and prospect relationships, referring sales partners as appropriate. Process & Policy Creation: Create and continue to refine well‑documented, repeatable, and scalable sales processes that drive growth while keeping the bank safe and compliant with regulations and state laws.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 10+ years in deposit‑based/treasury products, cash management, escrows, or virtual accounts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with prospecting and business development leading to stable deposits, treasury management fees, and other bank product revenue from homeowner associations, property managers, and qualified intermediaries, project finance, law firms and M&A
- Experienced and disciplined user of CRM systems
- Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills, particularly as it relates to customers

Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay)
Workplace Type: Remote. Flexible arrangements may be available for certain positions outside the branch network.
