
Meet is working with a commercial public biotech in the Bay Area looking to hire a Director Project Management.
Position Summary
This role provides project management leadership and support for product lifecycle initiatives and new development programs. The position partners with cross-functional teams across Clinical, Regulatory, Technical Operations, and Commercial functions to ensure strategic priorities are executed efficiently and aligned with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans to ensure timely achievement of objectives.
- Prepare agendas, facilitate meetings, document minutes, and track decisions and action items.
- Monitor follow-ups to ensure timely resolution of deliverables.
- Maintain risk registers, status reports, and dashboards to communicate program progress to stakeholders.
- Review key documents for alignment with program goals.
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners (e.g., vendors, contract organizations) to ensure successful project execution.
- Support additional initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical project management experience, including knowledge of drug development through commercialization.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage risks, resolve conflicts, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in project management and reporting tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
