CareCore at Mary Scott is seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Activity Director to lead engaging recreational and social programming for our residents. This role is perfect for someone who loves bringing people together, creating meaningful experiences, and enhancing quality of life through activities.
Responsibilities
Planning, coordinating, and leading daily group and individual activities
Developing monthly activity calendars that reflect resident interests and abilities
Encouraging resident participation and fostering a positive, inclusive environment
Coordinating special events, celebrations, and community outings
Collaborating with nursing and leadership teams to support resident well-being
Maintaining required documentation and activity records
Supervising and supporting activity assistants and volunteers as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience as an Activity Director or in recreational programming preferred
MEPAP Certification strongly preffered.
Experience in a long-term care or senior living setting strongly preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Creative, enthusiastic, and resident-focused approach
Ability to plan activities for varying cognitive and physical abilities
Expereince with PointClickCare preferred
