The Director, Integrated Insights and Analytics Lead - Rare Disease,is a Therapeutic area facing role, enabling data-driven decisions, and proactively delivering actionable insights.
This position will allow you to shape the Rare Disease cross-functional team, a top priority for Biogen North America, laying the groundwork for processes that can be scaled across other brand teams.

As the key partner to commercial and marketing leadershipand a member of the Decision Sciences, you will help identify& addressthe most important business problems facing the franchise. The role willleveragethe capabilities of the decision sciences hubs such as data science and digital, forecasting and data strategy to synthesize thebest-in-classinsights.This role will partner directly with North America Leadership team members and Heads of Marketingto proactively communicate risks and opportunities anddrive action Additionally, this role willleadthe development of performance narrative and generation of insights supporting USbrandin collaboration with the franchise lead, brand lead,Insights leadand (asappropriate)Global stakeholders.
WhatYou'llDo Lead and manage the relationship with Franchise Leadership Teamin support of the insights lead
Drive insights agenda:Scope, lead, and deliverbrand projectsacross core insights functions, including market research, forecasting support, competitive intelligence, brand analytics, and field analytics
Be a subject matter expert in different areas of Decision sciences such as forecasting, patient analytics, market researchandbehavioral science anddisrupt the thinking and introspection brand performance
Deliver high quality ad hoc analyses to leadership that offer clear recommendationsto drivebrand strategy
Proactivelyprovideactionable insights to key stakeholders for bothshort-termresource allocation decision and long-term strategy development
Collaboratingwith Advanced Analytics and Orchestration team and other Business Intelligence and Operations (BIO) teams to support initiatives to guide brand execution
Lead IntegratedCustomer Plan (ICP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP),and provide commercial team with comprehensive performance, target audience, and market insights to support strategy & resource investment
Cultivate strong relationships and effective ways of working within MS Marketing team
Pursuenovel research methodologies that offer new capabilities and ways tooptimizeproject efficiency
Partner effectively with leadership to ensure that key business decisions are based on data/fact-based analysis
Drive innovation in analytics and business execution to have impact onbusinessperformance

Qualifications 10+years'relevant experience with a life sciences company or consulting firm supporting the healthcare industry.
Consulting background strongly preferred.
Rare Disease experience highly preferred.
Solid understanding of commercial business and industry standard datasets - script (IQVIA, Symphony, etc.), Patient (Specialty Pharmacies/Distributors), and Managed Care (Symphony, etc.).
Masters Degree preferred.
Job Level: Management Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $196,000.00-$270,000.00 Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
