We are seeking a strategic and driven Director of Multifamily Energy Operations to lead our National Grid Multifamily Efficiency Program. This role oversees program compliance, production goals, reporting, and budgeting while collaborating with senior leadership to support growth and long-term strategy. Manage and direct all aspects of the Multi-Family Program. Ensure smooth operation of day-to-day operations. Identify best practices and continuously improve upon internal systems. Oversee protocols for contractor management/procurement, site assessments, development of work scopes, and job pipeline. Oversee technical aspects for multi-family utility efficiency and decarbonization programs. Provide support to subcontracting agencies to effectively provide service to low-income clients through job approvals, training, and agency monitoring. Coordinate energy efficiency retrofits in multifamily housing. Work across programs to ensure invoicing and reporting in processed in a timely manner Oversee multi-family utility budgets and reporting. Regular monitoring of budgets, production, paperwork, and program compliance to ensure information accuracy and contractual goals are met. Ensure projects are tracked and accrued accordingly, provided pipeline dollar projections as requested with accuracy. Produce required billing and reporting data in compliance with contract guidelines, ensure team is up to date on all reporting and compliance requirements. Ensure contracts are executed and up to date will all program vendors and subgrantees. Quality control of all areas to assure highest standard is being used in process, materials, and workmanship. Liaise with funding sources of programs to provide communication of needs and updates. Act as advisor throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts through various meeting groups to improve coordination and delivery of energy services more effectively. Representative at state-wide best practices group for efficiency and decarbonization matters. Anticipate changing needs of team and department to provide recommendations to leadership regarding risk, opportunities to create operational efficiencies to scale. Assist Residential Energy Director in training and evaluation of auditors and agencies that operate National Grid Efficiency Programs. Provide attendance at local energy related events, and ensure updates are given to Division Director of Energy Services and Chief Program Officer. Ensure open communication with Division Director of Energy Services, Chief Program Officer, Director of Utility Budget and Data Systems, Residential Energy Director, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. Prepare reports and assemble data as requested. Schedule, coordinate and attend relevant meetings, trainings and conference related to energy efficiency program. Attend and participate in departmental, organization-wide and other meetings. Act in the best interest of the organization, reflecting the values of teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect. Detail oriented and well organized. Good judgement and timely decision making. Demonstrated ability to build relationships. Excellent written and verbal skills. Advanced computer skills. Positive leadership ability. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility will be verified through E-Verify upon hire. Ability to comply with a pre-employment background check, MVR screening, and drug screening. Education and Experience
Degree in Business or related field, or 10 years related work equivalent. Five years supervisory experience, preferably in a non-profit organization. Senior Management experience. Massachusetts Construction Supervisors license. Auditor Certification by DHCD. Certified MA Energy Auditor. Building Performance Institute Certified. Physical Demands
Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, kneel, and sit for long periods Able to lift and climb ladders and lift up to 60 lbs. Location

Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (35 hours per week) Salary Range
