About the Role
The
Employee Benefits Account Executive
is with a top independent insurance broker that offers a diversified portfolio of property and casualty, health and welfare, and consulting services. As the lead client service strategist, you work closely with the sales team to monitor account activity as well as support new business and retention goals.
Duties & Responsibilities Here’s a little bit about what you can expect at your desk each day:
Conduct plan reviews and ensure clients have appropriate coverage in place for their needs
Oversee the renewal process to include compiling information, preparing submissions, negotiating with underwriters, and preparing proposals/presentations
Manage implementation and account onboarding
Assist with reporting, compliance issues, claims review, and meet with clients regularly to discuss findings and issues
Identify and pursue additional revenue opportunities through account rounding, referrals, and cross-selling
Skills & Experience
Minimum five (5) years of group employee benefits experience in a similar agency client service, sales, or consulting capacity
State insurance license
