About the Role:
The Senior BusinessAnalyst will support child nutrition program systems in the firm. This roleinvolves reviewing and documenting highly complex system requirements,supporting system modernization and enhancements, and ensuring compliance withfederal child nutrition program requirements.
The position requiresstrong analytical capabilities, prior state or federal program experience, andhands-on experience working with TANS.
Key Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and evaluatebusiness systems and user needs to document complex system requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed systemdocumentation supporting design, quality assurance, and compliance.
Create test plans and coordinate UserAcceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
Analyze child nutrition programpolicies and procedures to determine impact on system functionality.
Serve as liaison between businessunits and IT teams, providing consultation on analysis, design,configuration, testing, and policy implementation.
Reengineer existing processes andidentify technology improvements to meet business needs.
Identify risks, communicate potentialissues, and propose mitigation strategies.
Provide project status updates andensure stakeholder communication.
Facilitate service request lifecycle,including business requirement coordination and system integrationvalidation.
Work independently with a high degreeof creativity and accountability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience as a BusinessAnalyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
5+ years of experience serving asliaison between Business and IT teams.
1+ year of experience with the TexasAutomated Nutrition System (TANS).
1+ year of experience writing systemrequirements in compliance with federal child nutrition programs operatedby TDA.
