As the Strategic Growth, Technology Communications leader at Zeno Group, you will partner with our U.S. Head of Technology Communications to grow and shape our Technology Communications practice. This role is designed for a growth‑oriented leader with a passion for business and people development. As a seasoned PR practitioner, you will counsel clients and provide mentorship across the U.S.-based Technology team. You will play a principal role in scaling our West Coast presence through new business origination, marketing and organic growth. We are looking for a master of the craft – an exceptional people leader, a skilled client counselor, and a proactive business developer who will roll up their sleeves and stay close to the work. As a member of the Zeno West Senior Leadership team, you will be instrumental in not only engaging clients, but in building the portfolio of work, developing and growing Technology talent at Zeno. You should possess deep knowledge of technology and corporate PR strategies, a passion for driving outstanding results, and the ability to build strong, productive relationships with clients and your team. About The Job

Business Growth and Marketing

Partner with our U.S. Head of Technology to scale our client portfolio, identifying new opportunities and leading winning pitches. Expand business with existing clients by integrating additional network capabilities. Serve as a key business strategist in developing best practices to leverage the agency’s thought leadership, IP and innovation to elevate the reputation of the Technology practice. Serve as a thought leader and key representative for the agency at West Coast industry events, panels, and networking forums. Proactively identify emerging tech sectors to build a healthy pipeline of future partners. Strategic Leadership and Client Service

Act as a trusted advisor to our senior‑most technology clients, guiding them through the complex issues of the day and anticipating what’s next. Possess a deep appreciation for and expertise across the ever‑evolving technology landscape, its many sectors, and the general issues facing the industry. Lead the implementation of the firm’s emerging media strategy for the U.S. Technology practice and conduct outreach for programs/projects. Partner with U.S. Head to create innovative client service offerings that are relevant across the Technology sector and that differentiate Zeno from other agencies. Lead teams in delivering excellent, integrated client services and business results that drive high Zeno Quality scores. Maintain financial responsibility for accounts including forecasting, staff utilization, and account profitability. Team Leadership and Mentorship

Mentor and foster an inclusive, creative environment where teams are empowered to do their best work. Help drive a culture of continuous learning, developing talent at all levels to stay sharp on the latest trends and news across technology sectors. About You

At least 15 years of experience in PR and/or Communications, with significant time worked at an agency or similar environment. Must have a strong background in enterprise and/or consumer technology and carry a solid roster of technology and corporate media relations contacts. Proven track record for leading new business outreach and expanding client relationships. A history of success in providing sound, creative and strategic counsel to clients and building credibility with senior client contacts. Exceptional writing and presentation skills; able to distill complex tech concepts into compelling narratives for C‑suite clients. An innate understanding of when to lead by example and dive into the work and when to step back in order to teach, nurture and empower your team members. Collaborative spirit with an eye towards integrating disciplines to grow and win business. Results driven and able to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines. A demonstrated ability to think strategically, creatively and holistically about client programs. You believe staff development and utilization are not just a metric, but a way to build a sustainable, thriving team culture. Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring multi‑disciplinary teams. Must have a working knowledge of traditional and emerging media and a current track record of success in building relationships with national business and technology media. Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and contribute to agency growth. Ability to work a hybrid schedule and travel as needed for client meetings and industry events. Pay Range

$175,000 – $235,000 USD/yr. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue‑based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
