Job Title : Enterprise Solution Architect – Supply Chain
Job Location : Seattle, WA(Onsite)
Job Duration : Long-term Contract(2+ Years)
Pay rate : $90/hr on W2 & $100/hr on C2C
NOTE : Client is looking for SCM Solution Architect who understand flow
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve target and transition architectures for supply chain domains including manufacturing, warehousing, food safety & quality, and sourcing.
- Establish architectural direction aligned with enterprise standards, long-term modernization goals, and operational priorities.
- Drive architectural consistency across multiple concurrent supply chain initiatives.
- Lead the design of end-to-end solution architectures across multiple Supply Chain Organizations (SCOs).
- Ensure seamless integration and data flow across WMS, WES, MES, sourcing systems, analytics platforms, and enterprise integrations.
- Own and deliver conceptual, logical, and physical architecture artifacts required for implementation and governance.
- Engage with manufacturing, warehouse operations, food safety, sourcing, and supply chain business leaders to translate operational needs into scalable architecture solutions.
- Partner with product managers, engineering teams, and external vendors to ensure solutions meet both business and technical requirements.
- Serve as a trusted architectural advisor across global and regional stakeholders.
- Establish and enforce architecture principles, patterns, and best practices across supply chain initiatives.
- Actively participate in Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and enterprise governance forums.
- Ensure architecture documentation is maintained in LeanIX and aligned with TOGAF-based enterprise architecture practices.
- Assess and recommend platforms, tools, and vendors supporting manufacturing, warehousing, and sourcing capabilities.
- Lead or support vendor selection, POCs, and implementation decisions for supply chain technologies.
- Provide clear architectural recommendations with documented trade-offs and rationale.
- Ensure all solutions comply with global security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Incorporate operational resiliency, data integrity, and compliance considerations into solution designs, particularly within manufacturing and warehouse environments.
As a Lead Architect
- Provide deep expertise in warehouse management, warehouse execution, manufacturing systems, and sourcing technologies.
- Demonstrate technical leadership across commercial and proprietary supply chain platforms, including WMS, WES, and integration layers.
- Bring hands-on experience designing, procuring, building, and implementing supply chain systems as both a vendor and enterprise customer.
- Understand system interactions, dependencies, and operational impacts across end-to-end supply chain flows.
- Deliver high-impact architecture artifacts and guide teams through complex supply chain transformations.
- High-level conceptual and logical architecture designs.
- Detailed solution architecture artifacts, including:

- Application and integration architecture diagrams
- Data flow and system interaction models
- Process flow, sequence, and activity diagrams
- Interface specifications and integration contracts
- Architecture roadmaps and transition plans aligned to a North Star vision.
- Solution options with clear recommendations and decision rationale.
- Executive-ready presentations and documentation for technical and business leadership.
- Participation in RFI/RFP processes, vendor evaluations, and technology assessments.
- Active involvement in Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and governance forums.
Qualifications and Skills
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain, warehousing, manufacturing, and logistics technology environments.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale supply chain systems across retail, QSR, manufacturing, and distribution domains.
- Prior experience working both as a technology vendor and enterprise practitioner.
- Deep understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES), and Manufacturing systems.
- Strong background in supply chain process design, warehouse operations, and systems integration.
- Experience supporting food safety, quality, and sourcing-adjacent systems.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Manhattan WMS, Oracle WMS, HighJump, JDA, and custom warehouse systems.
- Strong understanding of API-based integrations and enterprise integration patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments.
- TOGAF-certified with strong command of enterprise architecture methodologies.
- Ability to define and drive target architectures across complex supply chain ecosystems.
- Skilled in creating ARB-ready architecture artifacts and leading governance discussions.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and facilitation skills across technical and business audiences.
