AGCO, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural solutions, has an exciting career opportunity for a Technical Service Specialist to join our Global Center of Excellence team in Jackson, MN. The Technical Service Specialist will play a keypartin providingaccurateand prompt troubleshooting and diagnosis of all technical issues to AGCO dealers for assigned products. In addition, the Technical Service Specialist has intermittent responsibility for presenting Service Review meetings, product training and field collaboration with AGCO dealers and other AGCO internal field staff. Estimated Travel is 10-20%.
Your Impact
Handle technical inquiries received through web, video, and phone channels, addressing dealer questions on AGCO machinery performance, reliability, product features, and service processes.
Communicate directly with dealer service managers and technicians, providingtimelyandaccuratetechnical support.
Investigate machinery issues using tools such as AGCO Tech Connect, Salesforce, technical publications, diagnostic systems, and conduct field/dealer visits when needed.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, marketing, and other technical service specialists toidentifyand implement effective solutions.
Deliver clear technical communication, including responsesinAGCO Tech Connect and phone support, and occasionally present product performance reviews or leading service training sessions for dealer personnel.
Your Experience and qualifications
High School Diplomarequired, with 3+ years of AA/BA-level education or equivalent practical experience in agricultural, heavy‑duty, or automotive equipment diagnostics.
Hands‑on diagnostic support experience with agricultural, heavy‑duty, and/or automotive equipment, or closely related systems.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, including Volt-Ohm Meters (VOM), CAN bus systems, and OBD / OBD II diagnostic interface equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills across electronic, hydraulic, and powertrain systems in agricultural, automotive, or heavy‑duty equipment.
Associate or bachelor'sdegree preferred, especially in Agricultural Technology, Mechanical Technology, or relatedagriculture field.
