The Business Insurance Agent (BIA) operates as an independent agent, partnering with Farmers Insurance agency owners to build and expand their Business/Commercial insurance pipeline. In this role, the BIA grows their own book of business while collaborating with multiple Farmers agencies to drive Business Insurance opportunities. BIAs generate leads through agency networks, referrals, and community outreach, offering tailored product solutions to business owners. They also benefit from established relationships with agency owners who provide access to existing customers and warm contacts.

By working together, Business Insurance Agents and other Farmers agents can unlock a more efficient workflow and create seamless customer experiences. This time savings can simplify their daily tasks and help them to focus on their highest value activities: selling, building relationships, and growing their business.

Partner with Multiple Middle and South Georgia Agency Owners

Multiple agency access to identify business owners, contacts, and share valuable product options for their business

Conduct one on one meetings with contractors, restaurant owners, manufacturers, real estate agents, and service industry companies regarding their businessowner policy, commercial auto, workers' compensation and their commercial umbrella

Become a service provider utilizing multiple agency pipelines and customer relationships to maintain a consistent flow of opportunities

Building Your BIA Agent Footprint

BIAs work utilizing multiple agency owner pipelines to get off to a fast start

Concierge underwriting support dedicated to business insurance to streamline quotes and close on preferred businesses

Customized and personalized business flyers, ads, lead programs and media opportunities are available in multiple languages

Access to agent webpage and social media posts create ongoing lead sources

Networking & Referral Partnerships

Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, networking groups, business organizations, and social media

Grow your business contacts in networking groups, job fairs, workshops and industry mixers increasing Farmers brand visibility.

Establish partnerships in target communities to create relationship lead sources for new agents.

Growth & Strategy

Collaborate with agency owners to forecast goals and expand targets for local business owners

Analyze workflow and results with agency owners.

Skills & Competencies

Property & Casualty (P&C) License is required

Minimum of three years of face-to-face sales experience, preferably in Business Insurance sales

Proven ability to meet or exceed targets consistently

Understanding of Business Insurance products

Strong people skills and persuasive communication

Organized, reliable, and self-directed work style

Motivation for growth and development

Satisfactory results of background check is required

Fluency in Spanish is plus

$40,000 Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities
