About the role Join RWE Supply & Trading at a pivotal moment of growth and transformation within our US Revenue Controlling team. You’ll be part of shaping scalable, future‑fit processes and supporting major system transformations that impact the way our business reports, analyzes, and understands revenue across renewable assets. This role offers global, organization‑wide visibility, collaborating with all levels including senior leadership. It’s an exciting opportunity if you want to truly influence our reporting structure during a phase of expansion.
Deliver monthly reporting for generation and trading revenues from wind, solar, and storage assets, including in‑depth analysis of drivers behind key variances
Contribute to mid‑term, long‑term, and forecast planning processes led by Controlling
Advance new reporting structures and tools, collaborating with Commercial and Controlling teams to meet the business’s evolving needs
Drive the set‑up, streamlining, and automation of data flows between key systems (Excel, SQL databases, ETRM systems, Tableau, PowerBI)
Foster global process alignment by working closely with international counterparts
Job requirements and experience
At least 1 year of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (advanced degree advantageous)
Advanced Excel skills (mastery is a plus) and familiarity with SAP, PCI, PowerPoint; experience working with SQL databases is an advantage
Eagerness to stay curious, explore new ideas, and learn from challenges
Evidence of ownership, drive, and the ability to turn strategy into action with measurable results
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams with an open, inclusive, and goal‑oriented mindset
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast‑changing environment, balancing longer‑term projects with ad‑hoc needs
Advantageous, but not essential
Experience in energy markets, particularly renewables
Previous exposure to data visualization tools, such as PowerBI and Tableau
