
Capital Formation Associate (Alternative Investments)

Our client is a prominent, well‑respected NYC based Private Equity Fund currently seeking to add a Capital Formation Associate to their growing Client Partners Team.
This individual will be responsible for driving product marketing plans, running end‑to‑end business strategy and updating the firm’s marketing agenda with regards to new client development. Ideal individual should be well versed with fund marketing, client development, product messaging and alternative investments.
Investment Banking experience strongly encouraged
Responsibilities
Assist with North American client sales & marketing, efforts, investor servicing and client relations and for the firm
Prepare client presentations, press releases, and other materials for investor meetings, conferences, and earnings calls.
Prepare board‑level presentations and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
This role will be responsible for enhancing the firm’s efforts around capital raising and investor experience
Research and provide market color with respect to potential investment opportunities
Create marketing materials & pitch books with regards to the firm’s investment opportunities
Collaborate with teams across all regions to develop meaningful marketing material such as sales pitchbooks, strategy books, client reviews, conference presentations and educational materials for both internal and external use.
Work with all levels of team members across the organization to help ensure the integrity and consistency of portfolio data reported across all marketing channels
Identify opportunities to enhance the strategic vision by gathering and analyzing field feedback and collaborating with partners across the organization
Provide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2+ years of directly Private Equity/Investor Relations or similar experience within Financial Services/Private Equity Alternative Asset Management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Salesforce and Excel (Superior Modeling / Transaction Experience strongly preferred)
Technical knowledge, data analytics using CRMs (Salesforce), and presenting using PowerPoint
Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven dynamic environment
