Director, Enterprise Architecture , you’ll be driving and managing enterprise-wide architectural solutions that power Sephora’s digital transformation. The work you do will impact beauty, as you design and implement innovative technology strategies that enhance how millions of clients experience beauty every day. What You’ll Do

Lead Enterprise Architecture Strategy.

Design and implement the enterprise architecture for our e‑commerce platform, aligning architectural strategies with business goals to ensure scalable, secure solutions that meet performance requirements and guide architecture decisions across teams and projects.

Collaborate Across Functions.

Partner with product, operations, and customer experience teams to ensure architectural solutions support business objectives and enhance user experiences, aligning IT strategies with business needs.

Mentor and Develop Your Team.

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Enterprise Architects and IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence while developing the next generation of technology leaders.

Establish Best Practices.

Develop and enforce standards and guidelines for system architecture, data governance, and cybersecurity across the organization to ensure consistency and security.

Drive Continuous Improvement.

Monitor and assess the performance of IT systems and architectures, identifying areas for optimization and overseeing implementation of changes to enhance performance and efficiency.

Integrate Emerging Technologies.

Evaluate and oversee the integration of new technologies and tools into our existing infrastructure, managing vendor relationships and ensuring seamless integration with minimal disruption to operations.

What You’ll Bring

Extensive Architecture Expertise.

10+ years of experience as an IT Architect with deep knowledge of enterprise architecture design, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, API integration, and both RDBMS and modern NoSQL database designs.

Digital and E‑commerce Experience.

15+ years of experience with digital and e‑commerce platforms, including expertise in e‑commerce ecosystems, loyalty programs, payments, and promotions that drive customer engagement.

Technical Leadership Skills.

Proven ability to lead enterprise architecture teams, communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders, and align technology strategy with business goals while fostering cross‑functional collaboration.

Strategic and Analytical Mindset.

Strong capabilities in strategic planning, problem‑solving in complex IT environments, decision‑making under uncertainty, and developing long‑term IT vision and roadmaps that support business transformation.

Security and Compliance Knowledge.

Understanding of data governance, security best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements including PCI DSS and GDPR to ensure enterprise solutions meet industry standards.

Modern Development Practices.

Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices, system design and architecture review, and object‑oriented programming principles to drive infrastructure modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Get The annual base salary range for this position is $235,980.00–$262,200.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non‑discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of official days.
