Your Day to Day As the Director of Data Products and Platforms, you will: Be a strategic data product leader
who translates business strategies into actionable data platform capabilities that enhance revenue and operational effectiveness. You’ll blend product vision with business insight while leading our India-based team to ensure that our data offerings achieve meaningful business results.
Focus primarily on product and business strategy
(70% product/business, 30% engineering leadership). Your time will be devoted to understanding business needs, crafting product visions, prioritizing impactful roadmaps, and collaborating with senior leaders across multiple departments including Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success. You will also provide guidance on technical direction, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results while fostering the growth of your engineering leaders.
You will spearhead the evolution of our data platform to
facilitate product-led growth , optimize e-commerce, and support enterprise-level analytics at scale. Your data products will provide insights like customer 360 views, personalized experiences, and intelligent engagement across our extensive customer base of over 800,000, driving analytical and AI initiatives that propel our business forward.
Manage Senior Managers in India, overseeing around 30 professionals in engineering, data science, and analytics. While they handle daily technical execution, you will be responsible for the overall product strategy, ensuring platform outcomes align with business goals, and cultivating their leadership capabilities.
What We're Looking For Your background will ideally include: Over 3 years of experience in SaaS and more than 5 years in product management, with robust knowledge in subscription models and user-focused platform development, demonstrating success in driving revenue and adoption through impactful data initiatives.
At least 3 years of experience managing and developing engineering leaders, with sufficient technical expertise to evaluate architectures and guide critical technical decisions.
8+ years in leadership roles, managing teams of 30-40+ individuals, with tangible success in nurturing talent into leadership positions or acting as a key mentor.
Extensive experience in delivering impactful data products (e.g., Customer 360, analytics, predictive models), operationalizing self-service analytics, and empowering non-technical users.
Familiarity with modern data architecture (data mesh/fabric), product analytics platforms, and the application of ML/AI solutions like recommendation engines and intelligent automation.
