About Autonomize AI
Autonomize AI is the healthcare industry's purpose-built AI platform for automating the complex administrative processes that consume clinicians, payers, and care teams — prior authorization, utilization management, care management, and claims processing. Backed by Valtruis, Cigna Group Ventures, Asset Management Ventures and top-tier VCs, we serve 3 of the top 5 U.S. health enterprises and are scaling aggressively. Role Overview
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role reporting to the CEO. You will own the full product surface — our suite of AI-powered applications, workflows, agents and the Autonomize platform, and the product strategy that connects our capabilities to the market. You will work directly with the CEO, GTM, and engineering teams to define what we build, why we build it, and how it wins in the market. You are not a PM manager who delegates. You are a builder who leads. You have the depth to go deep on a clinical workflow with a CMO, the technical fluency to challenge an engineering architecture with your CTO, and the strategic clarity to build a compelling GTM narrative with your sales team. Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
Define and own the multi-year product roadmap across AI applications and workflows, agents and platform capabilities Translate healthcare market dynamics, customer pain, and competitive signals into a clear product strategy and execution plan Own the product narrative—internally and externally—and represent product in board, investor, and enterprise customer conversations Platform Leadership
Lead the evolution of the Autonomize Platform—agent orchestration, workflow engine, integrations (EHR, payer systems, FHIR), and data layer Ensure platform architecture supports scalability, configurability, and extensibility for enterprise health plans and provider organizations Balance platform investment with application-layer product delivery—knowing when to build horizontal vs. vertical AI & Clinical Workflow Products
Own the product roadmap for prior authorization, utilization management, care management, and claims AI applications Work closely with growth team clinical advisors, customer success, and enterprise clients to ensure workflows reflect real clinical and administrative realities Drive AI product quality—accuracy, explainability, auditability—with the rigor required in regulated healthcare environments and partner with the Head of AI to ensure productized delivery of capabilities and roadmap Go-To-Market Partnership
Partner with sales and marketing to define product positioning, packaging, and competitive differentiation Build and maintain a deep understanding of competitive landscape—Cohere Health, Olive, Navina, and emerging AI entrants Enable the sales team with clear product narratives, demo environments, and ROI frameworks Team & Execution
Build and lead a high-performance product team, establishing strong discovery, prioritization, and delivery processes Create a culture of evidence-based decision-making—grounded in customer data, clinical outcomes, and business metrics Operate with speed and rigor appropriate to a Series A company in aggressive growth mode Qualifications
Experience
8+ years in product management with a clear track record of building and scaling B2B healthcare technology products Deep domain expertise in health plans and/or provider organizations—you have lived inside the workflows of prior authorization, utilization review, care management, or claims 0-to-1 AND scale experience—you have launched products from scratch and scaled them to meaningful revenue and enterprise adoption AI product experience—you have built and shipped AI/ML-powered products, understand model lifecycle considerations, and can talk technical architecture with engineers without needing a translator Platform thinking—you understand the difference between building a platform and building features on top of one, and have done both AI & Technical Depth
Working knowledge of LLMs, agentic AI systems, and how they apply to document processing, clinical decision support, and workflow automation Familiarity with healthcare data standards—FHIR, HL7, X12—and enterprise integration patterns in payer and provider IT environments Ability to evaluate technical architecture tradeoffs and hold engineering to the right product outcomes Leadership & Communication
Exceptionally strong communicator—written and verbal—capable of presenting to health system CIOs, payer CMOs, and your own board with equal effectiveness Executive presence with the ability to build trust quickly with enterprise buyers who are used to managing risk carefully Experience hiring, developing, and leading product teams in high-growth environments The Right Mindset
Operator mentality—you make decisions with imperfect information, move fast, and own outcomes Customer obsession with clinical respect—you deeply value the people whose workflows you are automating High standards—you are bothered by mediocre product and you do something about it Championship mentality—you raise the floor around you, not just your own ceiling What We Offer
Executive-level compensation package including competitive base, performance bonus, and meaningful equity Direct seat at the leadership table with the Founder & CEO—your voice shapes company direction Category-defining opportunity: healthcare AI is entering its most consequential chapter and you will help write it A customer base of the largest health enterprises in the U.S.—real enterprise scale with real clinical stakes Austin HQ—an intentional choice, not an afterthought.
