Overview Skylark Senior Living in Ashland is seeking an Executive Director to expertly lead our campus. Skylark is comprised of 75 assisted living and 32 memory care apartments. Our Executive Director’s license is for assisted living; our memory care has a dedicated administrator who reports to the Executive Director. Additionally, as a testament to our understanding and support for Skylark, we have facilitated administrator licensing in several others so they can provide meaningful contributions to day-to-day operations. Our fantastic leadership team is composed of the following full‑time equivalents:

Assistant Executive Director (licensed)

Community Relations Director (licensed)

Memory Care Program Director (licensed)

Business Office Director

Life Enrichment Director (licensed)

Director of Health Services, Registered Nurse

Memory Care Nurse

Three Resident Care Coordinators (two in AL, one in MC)

Lead Med Tech/Staffing Coordinator

Maintenance Director

In addition to these folks and equally essential to our thriving community, we schedule amazing care and med techs, housekeepers, maintenance techs, receptionists, and life enrichment staff seven days per week. As with any larger team, we have some seasoned staff and some newly hired – all are looking for a leader who will solidify the team’s forward momentum and operational systems. Hearth & Truss has operated Skylark since 2023. During this time, we have been extremely fortunate to work with terrific problem‑solvers. Now we’re looking for a Director who will finish all the work we’ve started, continue to cultivate the team, solidify the processes, and enjoy a more predictable operation. Skylark’s current census is 87% and is steadily and selectively growing with long‑term stability and continued marketability in mind. Skylark is located within a planned retirement neighborhood in Ashland, Oregon. Ashland is nationally known for its Shakespeare festival, home to Southern Oregon University, and an outdoor lover’s paradise.

Qualifications Qualified candidates must have at least three years assisted living and memory administration experience in Oregon, a current administrator’s license, successful survey experience, and a great reputation. Top notch professional leadership, communication, dedication, and consistency are also required.
