Laboratory Products An opportunity exists for an experienced sales professional in the Laboratory Products area of Thermo Fisher Scientific supporting Laboratory Consumable products. Our organization unites deep scientific expertise, a collaborative culture and resources to deliver the lab equipment and consumables that our customers need to achieve their scientific goals – quickly, reliably and safely. Our thoughtful lab solutions make it faster and easier for customers to focus on what matters most – delivering answers and innovations that save and improve lives.

Location This is a Field Sales position Covering the major metropolitan areas in Virgina and some accounts in DC. Residency near the territory is required. No relocation assistance provided.

How You Will Contribute

Achieve assigned territory revenue goals through purposefully pursuing sales opportunities with current and potential customers

Develop a robust sales pipeline and proactively develop strong customer relationships

Collaborate and train our channel partners to develop and close sales opportunities

Seek and promote new business potential through offering Thermo Fisher Scientific’s broad product portfolio and engage all appropriate colleagues to achieve maximum results for the company in total.

Participate in assigned corporate and focus account initiatives.

How will you get here? Education

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably within Life Sciences, STEM, or Business Experience

At least 3 years of highly successful laboratory sales experience, or product management experience required. 5+ years, preferred

Must have an outstanding understanding of our markets and be knowledgeable of diverse laboratory product applications.

Required travel ~50% - 75% of the time
