What you’ll do:
As the Customer ServiceRepresentative for Independent Truck Upfitters (An Aebi Schmidt Brand) you will support the team with various customer service responsibilities.
Respond promptly, accurately and professionally to customer inquiries.
Order parts using online parts manuals, engineering prints, and photographs.
Expedite and follow‑up on customer orders.
Coordinate with buyer for special part purchases.
Prepare parts sales quotes.
Process warranty claims, set up warranty codes, and determine appropriate code for the claim.
Deny inappropriate warranty claims.
Locate appropriate service center and coordinate repair of truck.
Communicate issue to Technical Engineering support for solution.
Determine and enter vendor chargeback.
Negotiate and reduce invoices.
Support NHTSA recalls by sending out appropriate parts.
Communicate warranty concerns to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales.
Support monthly warranty meetings with Manufacturing to communicate top warranty issues.
What you need to be successful: Qualifications
HSDiploma or GED required (bachelor’s or associate degree preferred)
Strong customer service skills
Good communication and organizational skills
Proficient with MS Office applications
