Position Summary / Objective The Director of Finance is a senior strategic leadership role responsible for driving the organization's financial planning, analysis, reporting, and business intelligence functions. This position partners closely with the CFO and executive leadership team to shape financial strategy, enhance operational performance, and provide data‑driven insights that guide enterprise decision‑making.

The Director of Finance oversees all FP&A activities including monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, long‑term strategic planning, pricing strategy, and business analytics. This leader ensures financial visibility across the organization and supports owners and lenders through accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reporting.

Essential Functions The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Financial Planning & Analysis Leadership

Lead the development of consolidated monthly financial reporting packages, including executive‑level commentary, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and performance insights.

Oversee weekly flash reporting to provide timely visibility into revenue, margins, costs, and operational performance.

Develop and maintain complex financial models supporting forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategy, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.

Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting process and long‑term strategic planning cycle across Finance, Operations, Commercial, and support functions.

Monitor functional performance against financial targets, identifying risks and opportunities and recommending corrective actions.

Strategic Business Partnership

Partner with the CFO and executive leadership to drive financial strategy and enterprise decision‑making.

Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives including pricing strategy, margin expansion, operational efficiency, and capital allocation.

Deliver financial reporting and analysis required by ownership groups and lenders, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.

Pricing & Margin Strategy

Provide strategic direction to the Pricing function, including development of margin profiles for new customers and margin expansion initiatives for existing accounts.

Analyze cost inputs and market conditions to optimize pricing strategy and profitability.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

Lead the development and maintenance of business intelligence tools and dashboards (Power BI or similar platforms).

Enhance visibility into financial performance, manufacturing metrics, pricing analytics, and supply chain / operational planning.

Drive data integrity initiatives in partnership with Finance & Accounting to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting.

Additional Responsibilities Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support executive decision‑making.

Drive continuous improvement within financial processes, reporting systems, and analytics capabilities.

Competencies To perform this role successfully, the individual must demonstrate the following:

Advanced financial analysis expertise with strong modeling capabilities.

Proven experience leading FP&A and Pricing teams within a manufacturing environment.

Deep knowledge of ERP financial systems (Oracle, SAP, DEACOM, or similar).

Advanced proficiency in Excel and large dataset analysis.

Strong experience developing and managing business intelligence reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.

Strong executive communication and presentation skills.Strategic thinking with strong business acumen.

Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Supervisory Responsibilities Lead the FP&A and Business Analytics functions.

Direct oversight of current team members with planned team expansion.

Responsible for strategic workforce planning within Finance to ensure appropriate talent and capabilities to support enterprise growth.

Work Environment Primarily on‑site, in‑office role.

Collaborative leadership presence required to partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Commercial, and Executive teams.

Physical Demands Office‑based role with limited physical demands.

Occasional travel may be required for business operations, lender meetings, or strategic planning sessions.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full‑time salaried position, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week.
