ABOUT OUR AGENCY I opened my agency in 2013 and lead a team of seven with a strong purpose behind what we do. Before becoming an agent, I worked in Yellow Pages sales. After a serious accident in 2006 that required three surgeries and months away from work, I experienced firsthand how important proper insurance education truly is—and how often people don’t receive it. That experience shaped my mission as an agent to make sure customers fully understand their protection and are never left in the dark.
Outside of the office, I enjoy adventure and trying new things—I’ve reeled in a 110-pound tuna in Hawaii and even gone skydiving. That same drive and determination shows up in how I lead and grow my agency. For our team, we offer PTO, a Simple IRA, health benefits, licensing reimbursement, and a strong focus on work-life balance. Our office culture is supportive, growth-oriented, and centered around making a real difference. ROLE DESCRIPTION As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Amanda Hagood - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. As an attentive, sociable, and sales‑minded professional, we are eager to have you on our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
Compensation $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
