Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Australia’s largest hotel.

The Role This is the perfect pathway for somebody in the hospitality industry looking to transition into an administrative role or for an up and coming go getter seeking hands on experience in the world of Sales and Marketing. Working in a high-volume environment amongst an experienced team, you will work closely to support both the Sales & Marketing teams. As a key team member, you will be responsible for and coordinate the administrative duties in the team and be provided the opportunity to learn and develop your skills along the way.

Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

Prior experience in the hotel industry and using Opera PMS is desirable

Excellent organisational and time management skills

High attention to detail and holistic way of thinking

Efficiency in multitasking and prioritising tasks

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Ability to build collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders

Pride in personal presentation and grooming

Full Australian working rights and the availability to work Monday to Friday

Responsibilities Include:

Regulated maintenance of records, profiles, systems and business activity tracking

Responding to email and telephone inquiries and forwarding to relevant team members where needed

Coordinating VIP reservations, amenities and welcome letters

Be involved in preparation for site inspections, famils and events for clients and communicating arrangements with relevant departments

Assist with content creation, scheduling, and tracking engagement for social media posts related to Hyatt Sales promotions, events, and F&B experiences.

Measure the effectiveness of famils, sales missions, and VIP engagements through guest feedback and respond to reviews accordingly

Ensure promotional content on Hyatt’s website, online travel agents (OTAs), and third-party platforms remains current.

Attend to adhoc requests that come through from Director of Sales & Marketing
