ABOUT THE ROLE
Join Bayer as a Sales Consultant focused on driving growth in our computed tomography (CT) and cardiovascular (CV) portfolios. This role is pivotal in generating demand for innovative products such as injectors, contrast media, and software solutions. By leveraging strong customer relationships and clinical expertise, you will navigate health systems, engage with key stakeholders, and enhance Bayer's presence in the radiology market.
Your primary goal will be to ensure customer success and satisfaction by delivering value that aligns with their needs, collaborating across teams, and implementing Bayer's Radiology Customer Engagement Plan.
This position covers New York area, including Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, and extends to regions in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Candidates should reside within the specified territory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets for the Computed Tomography portfolio.
Develop robust relationships with radiology leaders, CT technologists, and procurement teams to promote Bayer products and exceed sales goals.
Identify and engage key decision-makers within health systems to build Bayer's presence.
Execute a territory business plan that targets key accounts and opportunities effectively.
Collaborate with account managers and cross-functional teams to integrate CT solutions into strategic accounts.
Support the proposal process in alignment with account managers to ensure consistency.
Utilize enterprise value selling tools to enhance customer engagement and support needs.
Maintain accurate pipeline data and stakeholder information within CRM tools.
Provide insights on customer trends to enhance strategic account planning.
Deliver insightful presentations tailored to specific customer workflows and outcomes.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards during all engagements.
Effectively manage resources, including expense reporting and compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bayer seeks candidates who are:
Passionate about advancing the U.S. Radiology market and improving patient outcomes.
Holding a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or similar fields.
Proven achievers in meeting sales targets in complex healthcare environments.
Knowledgeable about CT technology, clinical applications, and radiology economics.
Experienced in engaging customers and influencing key decision-makers.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Excellent communicators with strong time management skills.
Proficient in CRM tools to drive sales efforts.
Experienced in healthcare sales, particularly related to radiology and imaging solutions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with Bayer's portfolio of medical devices, software, and services.
A minimum of 5 years in healthcare sales, with at least 3 years focused on radiology.
Ability to utilize AI tools effectively for sales opportunities.
Compensation for this role ranges from $95,680 to $143,520, with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, PTO, and more.
