Want to be a part of a team revolutionizing and leading an entire industry with no real competition? The laundry industry is a $40+ billion dollar market, and the Cents platform is making it easier for laundromats, dry cleaners, and all garment care businesses to grow, manage, and understand their business. Backed by top-tier investors like Bessemer, Camber Creek, and Tiger Global, Cents is one of the fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies in the USA, and we're just getting started. Already profitable and growing incredibly quickly each year, we have entered the absolute best stage of being a startup. Cents is a New York-based technology company passionate about transforming the laundry industry and dedicated to enabling new ways of working, earning, and living.
Cents is modernizing garment care businesses by providing an all-in-one, business-in-a-box platform to help operators start, manage, and grow their businesses. Our team is full of passionate technology experts obsessed with supporting and empowering SMBs. We feel the unique responsibility and opportunity we have to elevate an industry. We're adding great talent to help achieve this mission, and that's where you come in!
About the role: We are hiring a Distributor Relationship Account Executive to own and grow a portfolio of distributor partners. This is not a traditional SMB AE role and it is not a passive channel manager role. You are accountable for distributor revenue growth, distributor engagement and trust and making it easy for distributors to sell more Cents and Laundroworks products. You will sit at the intersection of Sales, Hardware Ops, Product, and Customer Success and act as the single‑threaded owner for your distributor accounts. This role includes meaningful in‑person time with partners, especially during industry show seasons.

Support distributors at regional and national trade shows, open houses, and events
Ensure distributors understand pricing, discount structures, and programs
Support deal strategy, quoting, and closing when needed

Enable Distributor Success
Train distributor sales teams on Cents and Laundroworks products, both remotely and in person
Roll out new products, programs, and incentives to the channel
Identify friction points and work cross‑functionally to remove them
Help distributors scale from ad‑hoc selling to a repeatable motion
Be the Voice of the Distributor
Bring distributor feedback back to Product, Ops, and Leadership
Surface systemic issues early before they become escalations
Advocate for distributor needs while protecting Cents standards and economics
Operate Like an Owner
Track performance against clear KPIs (bookings, attach rates, activation, growth)
Maintain clean CRM data and distributor account plans
Proactively manage risk, churn, and underperforming partners
About you:
2‑5+ years in sales, channel sales, or strategic account management
Experience working with distributors, resellers, or indirect sales channels
Comfortable managing complex, multi‑threaded relationships
Enjoy being in the field and building relationships in person
Highly organized, proactive, and data‑driven
Strong communicator who can be firm, fair, and clear
Laundry industry experience is a plus but not required. Grit, judgment, and ownership are.
Travel Expectations:
Regular travel during spring and fall laundry industry show seasons
Attendance at major trade shows, distributor open houses, and partner events
Periodic on‑site visits with key distributor partners throughout the year
Travel is a feature of the role, not a burden. Face‑to‑face time is how trust is built in this channel.
