About this role: The Boston Scientific TCAR Area Manager is a dynamic and entrepreneurial ambassador responsible for driving the adoption and sales of the TCAR (Transcarotid Artery revascularization) procedure. They are a critical part of the sales organization who have account responsibilities to promote, sell, and drive the safe adoption of the TCAR procedure within an assigned geographic or key accounts area. The Area Manager will practice effective territory management, demonstrate strong organization, administration, and expense management. At this level, Area Managers have complete knowledge and full understanding of the TCAR procedure and maintain a working knowledge of competitive products, as well as the principles and practices within the field. They build relationships and network both internally and externally and are able to adapt their style to differing audiences. They collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Field Clinical, Professional Medical Education, Marketing, and Research and Development, to support the company's goals.
Your responsibilities include:
Provide quality support to accounts, ensuring procedural success and superior outcomes for the ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection System and ENROUTE Transcarotid Stent System
Develop and execute sales strategies to expand existing business and identify new opportunities
Drive safe adoption and superior outcomes of TCAR procedure and related products
Achieve sales revenue and case targets for ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection System and ENROUTE Transcarotid Stent System
Provide technical and clinical support for TCAR procedures to healthcare professionals
Educate implanting teams on proper indications for TCAR procedures
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and relevant literature
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for optimal customer support and product improvement
Ensure excellent customer service and resolve complaints promptly
Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and handle administrative responsibilities
Develop and deliver effective sales presentations and training sessions
Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders
Stay current with local, national, and international regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to medical devices and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or technical degree or comparable experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in a hospital environment; preferably selling into minimally invasive cardiovascular market, EVAR/TEVAR, TAVR, peripheral or surgical related products.
Preferred qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, build customer relationships, and effectively close deals.
Knowledge of the care and management of cardiovascular disease.
Recognizes implications of problems and issues; evaluates impact of actions; sees the bigger picture.
Understands Healthcare Economics and Reimbursement.
Experience converting open surgical procedures to endovascular alternatives.

Salary:
$90,000 to $120,000
per year, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan and a full range of core and optional benefits available at BSC.
This position requires a drug test and proof of COVID-19 vaccination (where applicable) in accordance with company policies.
