Position Overview Appellation Healdsburg is seeking a Leisure Sales Manager to grow transient leisure revenue by building relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, and curated leisure channels. This role helps position the resort as a top weekend getaway in wine country while protecting rate integrity and supporting an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Drive leisure transient room revenue and room nights through account management and new business development

Build and maintain relationships with luxury travel advisors and top leisure‑producing agencies

Support consortia and preferred partner programs (as applicable) and increase production from those channels

Partner with Revenue and Marketing on seasonal offers, need‑period strategy, and market positioning

Host site tours and coordinate advisor/partner visits when approved

Track production, activity, and pipeline in the CRM; provide regular reporting and market feedback

Coordinate VIP details and service delivery for key leisure guests and advisor bookings

Qualifications

2-5+ years of hotel/resort sales experience; leisure and luxury experience preferred

Strong relationship‑building and prospecting skills with proven production results

Understanding of leisure distribution and rate strategy (commissionable bookings, value‑adds, seasonality)

Professional presentation and communication skills; comfortable hosting tours and representing the resort

CRM proficiency (Delphi, Salesforce, or similar)

Schedule / Travel

Primarily onsite with local appointments; occasional travel for sales calls and industry events

Some evenings/weekends for hosted events and key arrivals

The salary range for the role is $95,000-$108,000 per year.
