Structural Designer

## Job Description# Structural Designer* Minimum **5 years of experience** performing site walkdowns and writing technical reports.* Experience designing or detailing **concrete and steel structures** in heavy industrial or power generation settings is a plus.* High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training (OSHA, MSHA, structural inspections) preferred.* Proficiency in writing technical reports in Microsoft Word and maintaining findings in databases.* Experience with **laser scanning techniques** and registration workflows.* Ability to inspect structures and material-handling equipment for **damage, deterioration, serviceability, and safety compliance**.* Technical proficiency in **AutoCAD, Navisworks, Advance Steel, FARO SCENE (2023–2025)**, and Microsoft Office applications.* Ability to perform inspections at **extreme heights** or in man baskets (certified operators provided).* Strong understanding of **site safety requirements**, including PPE, fall protection, confined space procedures, and respirator use.* Background in **construction or fabrication** preferred.* Knowledge of **structural design codes**, standards, and regulatory requirements.*Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
