At StreetLights, the building façade catches the eye, but the Unit is where life happens. We are looking for a talented Designer to join our Creative Studio and take ownership of the most personal part of our projects: the resident’s home.
You are not a "drafter," and you are definitely not a "coder." You are a spatial problem solver. You understand that moving a wall six inches can change how a living room feels. You use Revit and parametric tools not because you love code, but because you love designing faster, smarter, and with more precision than anyone else.
The Canvas (What You Will Create)
Master the "Art of the Plan": You will take the lead on modeling and modifying unit types to align with our high design standards. You aren't just documenting; you are refining the flow, sightlines, and livability of every apartment.
Curate the Collection: You will manage and evolve the "SLR Unit Catalogue." Think of this not as a database, but as our Design Library - a curated collection of our best thinking that you will constantly improve.
Design at the Speed of Thought: You will use high-level BIM skills and visual scripting tools to iterate through design options instantly. When a building footprint changes, you don't stress—you creatively adapt the units to fit the new constraints without losing design intent.
Bridge Architecture & Interiors: Because you understand that a floor plan is 3D, you’ll work where Architecture meets Interior Design, ensuring our units aren't just boxes, but beautifully code compliant composed spaces.
The Profile (The Design-Savvy Pro)
The Eye: You have a strong design sense. You care about how a door swing impacts a room or how a kitchen island aligns with a window.
The Hands: You have 3-5+ years of experience, preferably in Multi-Family or High-End Residential. You know how a building comes together.
The Toolbelt: You are a Revit wizard, but you view software as a creative medium. You know Dynamo or AI, and you use it to eliminate boring work so you can spend more time designing.
The Vibe: You thrive in a fast-paced design environment and want to be part of a studio culture, not a cubicle farm.
