The expected base salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.

This role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive U.S. based benefits package, including:

Plumbing Designer

serves to focus primarily on the design of building-related projects, including educational campuses, healthcare facilities, and more using Revit and AutoCAD software.

General Duties

Develop system design calculations and select equipment for use in buildings including medical gases, vacuum, compressed gases, domestic cold and hot water, sump pumps & sewage ejectors, water heating systems, water booster stations, etc.

Preparation of detailed design documents

Specification writing/editing

Code compliance research

Collaborate with various team members for coordinating services with other disciplines

Site surveys to determine existing conditions

Provide construction administration support including submittal reviews and RFI responses

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in plumbing design for various types of facilities

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office software

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (a plus but not required)

EIT / PE a plus but not required

Thorough knowledge of engineering principles and experience in a broad spectrum of building types

Professional Engineer a plus but not required

Skills

Familiarity with local and state codes, accepted standards and design guidelines

Excellent work ethic and character

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Ability to work collaboratively with others but also independently

Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize obligations to meet deadlines

Travel:

10-15%
