The
Business Development
Manager
charts the course, develops a vision, and implements the plan that will propel the company towards increased market share and greater brand recognition. Reporting directly to the CEO, the
Business Development Manager
will be a strategic thinker with proven hunting skills. Accountable for delivering measurable results that achieves and exceeds revenue and margin targets, this position will be capable of contributing meaningful insight to the sales and marketing functions and play an integral role in the overall development of the organization.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Local and highly networked across the construction industry in groups like BOMA
Hands-on experience strategizing and negotiating complex sales deals
Strategic, persistent with an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to be part of an established company
Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills to actively implement ideas
Curiosity, strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Experience in sales and business development in the
commercial roofing industry

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
A minimum of 5 years of senior sales experience in a sales environment (service or production)
