We are seeking a results-oriented

PPC Specialist

who can build, optimize, and scale high-converting Google Ads campaigns for local service-based businesses.

The PPC Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid search campaigns focused on generating qualified inbound calls and form submissions for plumbing services.

This role requires strong expertise in

Google Search Ads , conversion tracking, and cost-per-lead optimization within local service markets.

Key Responsibilities Build and manage Google Search campaigns for plumbing services

Structure campaigns by service category (e.g., drain cleaning, water heater repair, leak detection, emergency plumbing)

Conduct keyword research focused on high-intent local search terms

Implement negative keyword strategies to reduce wasted spend

Manage geographic targeting and radius-based campaigns

Performance Optimization Monitor and optimize campaigns to achieve target CPL (Cost Per Lead)

Improve Quality Score, CTR, and conversion rates

Adjust bidding strategies (Manual CPC, Max Conversions, Target CPA)

Optimize ad copy and extensions (call, location, sitelinks, structured snippets)

Manage budget allocation efficiently across services

Conversion Tracking & Analytics Set up and maintain conversion tracking (calls + form submissions)

Implement tracking via Google Tag Manager and GA4

Integrate call tracking software (e.g., CallRail, WhatConverts)

Provide weekly performance reports with actionable insights

Identify scaling opportunities based on data

Recommend landing page improvements to increase conversion rates

Conduct A/B testing (ad copy and landing page elements)

Analyze user behavior and drop-off points

Requirements

Required Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of experience managing Google Ads

Proven experience in

local service or home services industries

(plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electrical, etc.)

Demonstrated ability to reduce CPL and increase lead volume

Strong understanding of:

Keyword match types

Quality Score optimization

Geo-targeting & service area campaigns

Experience with:

GA4

Conversion tracking setup

Call tracking systems

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Google Local Services Ads (LSA)

Experience managing budgets between $1,000–$10,000/month

Understanding of local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization

Experience working in startup environments
