LOCATION : Napa, Fairfield or W. Sacramento, CA

SCHEDULE : Full Time 40 hrs/week; Monday- Friday

PAY RANGE : $30.34 - $37.09 hourly

About CommuniCare+OLE Established in 2023, CommuniCare+OLE is the result of a union of two health centers with deep roots in their respective communities and reputations for providing high-quality primary care to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay: OLE Health of Napa and Solano Counties and CommuniCare Health Centers of Yolo County. Building on a legacy established by both organizations in 1972, CommuniCare+OLE is a network of federally‑qualified health centers with 17 sites across Napa, Solano, and Yolo Counties. It offers comprehensive care, including medical, dental, behavioral health and substance use treatment, nutrition, optometry, pharmacy, care coordination, referrals, and enrollment assistance to more than 70,000 individuals, and no one is turned away due to lack of insurance, immigration status, or ability to pay. Many services are offered outside of its sites, including mobile health, home visiting, and community and school‑based programs.

Job Summary/Overview The Marketing Coordinator provides essential support in the execution and delivery of patient and community stakeholder communications. Reporting to the Marketing & Philanthropy Manager, this role helps implement campaigns and projects that engage and educate patients and the broader community about CommuniCare+OLE’s services and impact. The Coordinator handles day‑to‑day marketing project management, content creation for patient marketing and education, and utilizes tracking tools to ensure smooth and timely execution of all patient‑facing marketing and outreach projects.

Minimum Position Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or other relevant field desired, or comparable experience required.

Experience:

At least 3+ years’ experience in public relations and/or marketing required; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred; healthcare marketing experience preferred.

Special Skills/Training:

Demonstrated skill in writing/editing and verbal communication.

Experience in content creation, including blogs, emails, graphics, and video.

Demonstrated ability to translate complex medical or insurance concepts into clear, actionable language for diverse audiences.

Understanding of professional etiquette and cultural sensitivity required to build trust across patients, colleagues, community members, and vendors.

Ability to conduct patient interviews and capture narratives that highlight organizational impact and quality of care.

Understanding of CRM platforms and reputation management tools to track and analyze audience engagement.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with multiple stakeholders and limited oversight.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Assists with print and digital content development (posters, lobby monitors, flyers/brochures/handouts) that adheres to brand and content guidelines across all 14 facilities.

Regularly visits health center locations to identify, interview, and document "Patient Success Stories" for use in marketing and education.

Drafts and proofreads patient communications, including SMS/text alerts and monthly patient newsletters.

Maintains the annual marketing calendar, prioritizing health awareness months and service line promotions.

Ensures accuracy of the organization’s website to support patient access and provider recruitment.

Maintains the organization’s asset library and materials inventory, including design assets, signage, site photography, and patient success stories.

Monitors Google Business Profiles for all 14 locations, facilitating responses to patient reviews.

Maintains and updates contact records in the CRM, including campaign tagging and data integrity.

Maintains strong relationships with internal staff, vendors, community members, and colleagues through courteous and clear communication.

Performs other duties as assigned.
