Spherical is looking for an English proficient copywriter with an exceptional ability to build worlds and create feeling through copy. Whether it’s crafting social captions, a brand manifesto, or a high-converting landing page, your writing is rooted in imagination, specificity, and strategic thinking. You should be able to adapt to different brand voices, and move seamlessly between platforms, writing succinct, impactful copy as you go. Based in our Barcelona office, the copywriter will sit within the Content Studio, at the intersection of creative and marketing, shaping how our clients speak to the world.

What you'll do

Write original copy and

edit content

across social media, websites, paid advertising, and brand identity materials

Interpret

creative briefs

to develop compelling, on-brand copy for a range of clients

Develop distinctive voices and bring brand storylines and messages to life through social copy.

Craft snappy headlines and supporting copy for paid media and marketing campaigns

Adapt voice and tone to establish distinct brand communication for each project

Collaborate with creative leads, account managers, and clients to ensure copy is effective and drives performance

Present copy concepts and final deliverables to creative teams and client representatives

Join client calls to deepen your understanding of each brand

Creatively utilize AI as a tool to generate copy and messaging concepts with soul and specificity

Refine and elevate copy based on client and creative team feedback

Communicate with account management and creative counterparts to stay aligned on project timelines

Maintain and organize copy and messaging documents as a reference for clients and internal team

Support the internal business development and marketing team with copywriting as needed

What you bring

3-5 years of copywriting or content marketing experience, ideally within an agency environment

C1/C2 English proficiency

A passion for hospitality, travel, and hotels

Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving skills

Ability to identify what makes a brand’s voice unique

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for grammar, flow, and nuance

Solid experience writing for brand strategy and brand identity

Exceptional research skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
