Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to bring creative ideas to life through video editing. Key Responsibilities
Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished video product
Work closely with the creative team to understand the vision and objectives of each project
Use various software programs to edit and add visual effects, sound, and music to videos
Ensure the final product meets the company's quality standards and client's expectations
Organize and manage video files and maintain an organized workflow
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for video projects
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video editing skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid
Strong understanding of video production processes and techniques
Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work
