
PS&E is looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual who is passionate about starting a career in the sports industry to be a Brand Ambassador. As a part-time employee, this person will engage with community members, build enthusiasm surrounding the Indiana Pacers and affiliate teams, and increase brand awareness. The three main areas this position is responsible for are: (1) community, (2) gameday and (3) office. The Brand Ambassador will be the Pacers/Fever representative at community events, driving the Pacers Fan Van to events, setting up the event space, actively engaging with attendees, executing interactives, facilitating contests, managing giveaways, shooting photos/videos, and doing other promotional tasks. On game days, the Brand Ambassador will be responsible for setting up and tearing down the fan engagement activities around the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, assisting the DJs, and helping in occasional on-court activities. Office responsibilities include developing our appearance opportunities across Indiana and maintaining promotional materials for game day and community giveaways. Being a Brand Ambassador provides several development opportunities within the Marketing department and is a valuable opportunity for anyone excited about beginning a career in the sports industry!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Marketing Initiatives (e.g. Fan Van activation):
Actively engage with current and prospective fans using promotional strategies
Travel to events in Indianapolis and surrounding communities
Set up and facilitate fan engagement activities, including our prize giveaways
Game Day Execution:
Set up and tear down fan engagement activities around the arena
Prize giveaway stations
Pacemate photo booth
Pacemate autographs
Family fun activities
Distribute special guest prize packs
Assist in on court activities
Halftime show
T-shirt toss
Office
General administrative responsibilities
Maintaining promotional materials
Restocking and organizing prizes for game day giveaways
Researching fan van opportunities across Indiana
Assisting marketing staff with special projects
Participating in discussions regarding marketing and promotional strategies
Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Driver’s License Required
Minimum of 1-year experience in a customer experience or fan-facing role
Completion or enrollment in a Business or Sports degree is preferred

Attends all mandatory Brand Ambassador Elevate trainings
Attends all home games and requested events
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions and reports. Ability to write reports, recaps, and correspondence with extremely high accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Managers, Clients, Customers, and the general public. Ability to communicate and sell ideas to peers and executives. Ability to create and deliver presentations to all levels of employees and upper management.
