Lead & Inspire the Team
Manage and mentor a team responsible for new business, renewals, and service requests. Train and onboard new hires while providing ongoing coaching and regular one-on-ones. Oversee workload distribution, PTO coverage, and daily operational flow to keep the team running smoothly. Drive Underwriting Excellence
Review complex or challenging submissions and provide guidance on underwriting decisions. Monitor renewal timelines and ensure proposals are prepared accurately and on schedule. Serve as the go-to escalation point for underwriting questions or situations requiring carrier collaboration. Strengthen Broker & Carrier Partnerships
Build and maintain strong, responsive relationships with brokers. Resolve escalated issues with professionalism and urgency. Work closely with carrier underwriters to clarify guidelines, negotiate terms, and address underwriting obstacles. Ensure Operational Quality & Efficiency
Step in to review or handle work as needed to maintain continuity and service excellence. Identify gaps in processes, communication, or account handling, and implement improvements to enhance workflow consistency. What You Bring
5+ years of commercial lines underwriting or account management experience; leadership experience strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of commercial P&C lines, carrier appetites, and underwriting processes.
Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills.
Experience in a multi-carrier or wholesale environment is a strong plus. This role requires unrestricted U.S. work authorization. Employer sponsorship is not available.
